The Agency of the Future?

There’s been a lot of talk in our business about what the agency of the future might look like – we think Victors & Spoils from the US may well be onto something.

They are the first ad agency to be based entirely on crowdsourcing principles but what makes their approach so smart is that they blend this with the strategic direction and relationship management most client projects require. The name reflects their philosphy of rewarding more than just one winner, as well as providing rewards for participation in the creative community – each creative contributor builds a ‘reputation score’ which helps determine a share of revenue for each project.

We think it’s an exciting glimpse of the future, one where the search for ideas is unleashed from the traditional creative department and which truly embraces the collective intelligence.
