Named “Bosco Verticale” (vertical forest), this stunning design by Boeri Studio in Milan will host 530 trees, 11,000 groundcover plants and 5,000 shrubs – the equivalent of 2.5 acres of forest!  Not only will the greenery be pleasing to the ye and provide much needed shade in summer, it will also absorb CO2, moderate extreme temperatures and lower noise pollution.
