And I thought having a 3 year old with attitude was challenging.

Try having a teenager with Tourette’s Syndrome. Check out this 8 part British documentary called ‘Teenage Tourettes Camp’. It’s cruel, funny, sad, and intriguing. Be warned – the language can be a little confronting to say the least.

Hurry up and relax.

As a society, we’re obsessed with speed. Journalist Carl Honore talks about how this obsession is destroying our diet, health, productivity, relationships, and most importantly, our quality of life. I’m wondering if his story about ‘1 minute kids bedtime stories’ rings a bell with anyone else out there?

I was at the dentist the other day and in the waiting room was a Chinese grandmother reading a farm yard book to her toddler grandson.
